No audio on HDMI ASUS motherboard

Hi,

I usually am pretty good at the settings and software issues, but since this is my first HDMI motherboard ASUS M3N78 Pro, I cant get no audio through HDMI. I think I am not seeing something simple....This is the onboard audio and I have my Bios set to onboard audio enabled..

I am waiting for a new hdmi video card to arrive but I would like to have sound until then.

I have Realtek HD audio installed.

Device hardware tree has no errors.

I tried all the settings in the sound properties: (7.1 surround, Monitor Speakers, Surround 5.1 etc)

Still nothing.

I am trying to run this through a 27 inch LCD flat panel HDMI to HDMI....

did you install NVIDIA HDMI Audio Driver V1.0.0.26 ?
and did you mean you have your motherboard set to HDMI audio enabled?

Also you have to go into sound properties in control panel and be sure HDMI output it enabled. All ATI cards driver comes with the HDMI audio driver as well. SO im sure if you update the Nvidia card with newest drivers youll get the drivers needed.
