Default Making a mouse

I was wondering how computer mouses(mice? meese? :P) were made. I dont expect anyone here to take the time and effort to give me a full explanation of it, but was more hoping someone could point me towards a good book or website that I could read, I'd be interested in making my own someday. When I google search the subject I seem to only come across ways to add a new shell to an already existing mouse to make it look cooler.

All help appreciated.

I just made a template for you, edit this .ico file as you like with "IcoFx" application, remember that my template tip point must match.

What in the world does that have to do with building a mouse from scratch?

The main thing is, that you would waste lot of time to make proper working mouse. The dart tip will not math aim ( you would not click/choose easy enough, as with standard ).
