Help...audio problems

Hello all...
I'm new here and in need of help...

My audio on my computer recently started being choosey about when it works. I hear my normal computer start up noises, I also can listen to tunes in iTunes, but can't hear any audio on Pandora or Utube. I can listen to streaming radio online from winamp and other streaming radio. Any suggestions?

Well first I would suggest checking your audio(Volume mixer).

1. Please right click on the little speaker next to your clock on your computer.
2. Click Open Volume Mixer.
3. Make sure none of them are muted and all of them are up all the way.

If speaker is not next to clock:
Click start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and sound -> Adjust sound.
Once there please refer to step three.

The mute is not on; I can hear other applications fine.

There is multiple mute buttons one for each app usually so we like to make sure.
Obviously your driver is installed because you do have sound sometimes.

Have you tried using headphones with the applications that are not working? If so what was the conclusion?

computers has their limitations, i already expireinced that. and it cause to expend a lot of money just to fix it. you know, computers have limits. use them nicely.
