Default Hdmi

I have an HDTV that has 1 HDMI port on the back panel. Connected to it is my Comcast HD cable box. However, I recently bought a DVD player that uses HDMI, so I also bought an HDMI spiltter. Do I need to buy another HDMI cable to connect from the TV to the spillter, and then connect the cable box to the spitter and then the DVD player to the spiltter?

You would need 3 in total. They are pretty cheap to buy : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-013-_-Product lol it almost cost more to ship it then the cable is worth.

Why don't you just use a different output on the dvd player? You don't necessarily have to use the hdmi since the other outputs are capable of HD as well.
