Computer to TV via S-Video

We recently bought a new computer (a HP Pavilion) and wanted to hook it up to our big screen TV via S-Video. According to all the books for the computer it can be done, but it just gives me instruction on how to hook up the cable itself (plugging it in, etc.), not how to actually get the picture onto the TV. Can anyone give me any tips? I'm running Vista, so I have Windows Media Center already installed. Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks!

(The most important part is how to run a slideshow of pictures on the TV so we can show relatives.)

Well all you have to do is hook it up, and unhook the monitor outputs and it should automatically find the source.

Ive had problems using S-video on larger TV's, resolution wise.

If u have VGA in on the Big Screen try that better.
