Audio to PC Advice Needed

Hello this is my first post,

I tend to do quite a bit of travelling, especially on my own driving a car. I could really make use of the time by talking to some device which I can then transfer to text on my PC, does any one have any advice on this.

I really don't want to spend much on expensive equipment, I don't have an IPOD or a particulary high tech mobile phone. How can I record my voice and then transfer this to a PC?

Oh, there are plenty of speech to text programs for Windows. Just google it and find one with features you like and an acceptable price. I don't think any of them are freeware as the technology is well developed and fine-tuned.
