Hi just asking you guys that what do you think is better for gaming: Windows 7 or 8? (:

I think Windows 7 is a better desktop OS than 8 in general.

both. well. win8 is the only one having support for DX11.1. Win7 wil not have that support.
So, i'll say win8, but at this time there are no need to go rush for win8, it's still very new.

It depends on what games you will be playing as Windows 8 doesn't support all games yet, So I would stick with Windows 7 for now..

When I get my new computer I'm going to have Windows 8 on my laptop an Windows 7 ultimate on my desktop.

I believe that Windows 7 handles game play and graphics rendering better than 8. Particular games on highest settings were noticeably laggy on 8, whereas 7 never gave me those problems.

For gaming I would stay with Windows 7 .... ATM

Windows 8 is lagged system, don't use it, better burn out your PC :/
