Default Some decent games for this (older) system?

Been told by the forum software I've been missed ( *sob* someone loves me! *sob* ) so here I am to annoy you all again :P

What are some games that would run on the following system?

Dell Latitude D600
2GHz Pentium, 2 (?) MB cache
1GB RAM
Radeon Mobility 9000
Windows XP SP3

This system can run Need for Speed Most Wanted on all low settings, as a benchmark. I'm really into racing games and modern or future-set single-player FPSes.

Well i would say have a go on half life 1, its a great game but also very cheap, this game should run on anything... If you are interested i would get it from steam instead of a shop..

Half-Life on Steam

Hope you enjoy...

I own one of those laptops. I could play Half life 2 on medium-low at 40fps.

If thats the case great grab yourself a half life pack from steam with both.. maybe run your half life 2 on low if 40 fps is what you get on medium, dont want it lagging on you when the action kicks in ..

if you got a nice internet connection make sure you have a go on counter strike :P

Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun Was my favorite.

I think portal 1 would run terrible on that system.

Some games that might run well:

Max Payne 1 & 2
Half-Life and Half-Life Source
Half-Life 2 with low to medium settings
Duke Nukem 3D
The old Rainbow Six games
Far Cry on low settings
Sims games
Civilization
Minecraft
Painkiller
Painkiller Overdose
Painkiller Redemption
Peggle
Audisurf
Original Call of Duty or Ghost Recon

I'm not sure how well games like Portal, Portal 2, TF2, and Half-Life 2 Episode 1 & 2 would run since those games are based on the latest Source engine.

We could play it again if someone set up a ipx tunneling server.
