Default Recording gameplay on slow computer?

My specs are
Processor: AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-75 2.20GHz
RAM: 3.00 GB (2.75 usable)
System type: 32-bit

I was wondering what kinds of games I could play and record smoothly, ive been trying to play VBA games while recording with HyperCam 3 but it was all slow and the audio and video were out of sync. Any help appreciated

That system doesn't have enough horse power to do both play and record. The 3 gig of ram being knocked down to 2.75 indicates it's using internal video and sharing the ram.
Upgrades aren't going to help as the system appears to be a laptop or an older desktop.

You would be better off doing a custom build then upgrading..

I am actually planning on doing a custom build when I get the money, I'll probably go at it with a budget of a little over $500 just because I don't need anything amazing, just better than what I have now. I also need to research so I can get the best I can with that amount. I was just hoping for a way to maybe play roms or something and record those, idk, something really small.
