Default Help Me Pick Out A CPU Game Please

The only game Ive really ever played/enjoyed was Age of Empires: Age of Kings. I played that game soooo much and for the graphics being not that great it was extremely addicting online. Thats what kind/type of game I would like to get. I wanna be able to play 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 etc. I play alot of xbox when Im at home, but I need something to do at work in my downtime. I would still play Age of Kings online, but I think only like 40 ppl still play it online. Is there anything comparable or similar? Thanks

... World of Warcraft? IT doesn't get much more online or much more multiplayer and/or addictive than that.
