Default Gaming Headset

I am looking to buy a new gaming headset and I would like it to have surround sound.
The logitech G35 7.1 surround sound headset Logitech - G35 Surround Sound Headset looks nice but I am wondering if it is true 7.1 surround sound or just digitally enhanced. Does any one have any recommendations?

Usually the headphones unless you buy professional grade ones will be digitally enhanced surround sound. This is still a nice sounding set with overall great reviews from what I've heard, but for the price tag I would rather buy a cheaper set and a decent surround sound system.

Very cool looking and i trust Razer enough to make something good (Own a Razer Mamba and a Razer Lycosa; both quality as hell)

Oh, definitely. If those beats audio headsets are going for $200, I imagine this will be around the same price range. However, I trust razer to make good quality products, I have had the Mamba and Naga mice, the Razer Lycosa and the Carcharias, and none of them have disappointed me in the least.

I have the logitech G930 wireless headset and love it. I don't think I will be able to go back to wired headsets, to be able to move freely without having worry about tripping over a cord or running it over with the chair and ruining it is nice.
