Default Football Manager 2013 Graphics problem

I have had a problem with the football manager 2013 3D match engine. It jumps/lags alot and the matches aren't smooth. I have a Samsung notebook with a Intel i5 processor and an nvidia 500 series 500. I have updates some matches on youtube. I have also added a match to this post
Please can you suggest if there is anything is wrong with my graphics as it cost alot of money and I don't play high end games such as Black Ops 2 ect. I believe laptop should be able to play this game and if there is a problem I could claim on my insurance and get a fresh one. Cheers James

Your insurance isn't going to cover your laptop not living up to snuff.
What model is your laptop?
How much ram does it have?
Are you allowing the GPU to borrow any ram from the system?
Got the latest drivers for the GPU?
Does the manufacture specs say it will do 3D?

I think it does that automatically if it doesn't have enough VRAM, but the transfer rate will be VERY poor.

are you sure it switches to the Nvidia GPU and not running on Intel's inbuilt HD3000/4000 GPU?
