Default Decent gaming computer

I want to make a decent gaming computer if possible with a 300$ budget. Here are my current specs:

Manufacturer: Hp
Model: Pavilion p6540y
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 830
RAM: 4GB
Disk/RAID:
Optical: Radeon hd 4200
Network:
Cooling:
Power: 155 watt

I'm pretty nooby with computers but I'm guessing a graphics card + ram upgrade is in order.

$300 is about 185, sorry you will need a bit more than that hon, depending on what games you intend running.

If you can double your budget, then you can definitely build something decent enough to run most modern games.
