Computer lags with one game

Hello to the Computer Forums,
I've recently had a problem. My computer,which has been running a game very well even on full scale graphics,has been very slow with it and this game now runs really slow after a minute of gameplay (before this minute it runs perfectly smooth) . I have an updated antivirus,a system which I clean regularly using CCleaner,had tried disk defragmentation. It just suddenly happened. For any help please contact me. Thanks for any helpful information you may give me.

What game, and what are the specs of your computer? Also, have you checked to make sure you're not over-heating?
