Default BFBC2 Slower than it should be

I just bought an HP computer, AMD Phenom II X6 1055t 6 Core processor 2.8 GHZ, 8GB of ddr3 ram and a 1GB ATI HD 6570 graphics card and it seemed fast doing everyday tasks however it seems a lot slower than it should be playing Battlefield Bad Company 2.
It is very laggy playing even medium on 1080p setting and still not that impressive on 720p settings. Am I expecting too much from this computer or is there something i can do to speed it up? thanks

Default Re: BFBC2 Slower than it should be

The issue is the graphics card. There's not many benchmarks I can find for BFBC2 on 1920x1080 resolution but: ATI Radeon HD 5570 Review > Benchmarks: Company of Heroes, Crysis Warhead - TechSpot Reviews Shows some benches for games which only run in dx10 (I know it says 5570 not 6570 but they're the same card), and in cyrsis warhead they still only get around 20 fps. Since BFBC2 runs DX11 I would expect it to be pretty laggy at high settings. So yeah, I'd say you're expecting too much (PURELY from the graphics card)
