Gallery: Your Workstation

Man I don't recall having a motor bike part of the police force sa a background.

I like the cave but...why in the world is it a Ford?! :p

Jeese, got enough CPUs? Look at all the boxes you have! You make me jealous...all the nostalgic moments of computing...all coming back.

Well, anyways, if some of you guys remember my 51 motherboard wall...it's gone. My room...gone...after 20 years at home, they decided to let go of it and move out. Unfortunately, I do not have financial resources to move out on my own.

Anyways, 9 boards out of 51 will be on the wall...but I kept the remaining 42, and I'll add some in the box as time flies.

So now, my room is now an office, and look at how it turned out:

That stinks. I always liked your motherboard wall. I always had a dream of doing something like it, but I got rid of most of my extra computer stuff when I started going to college.
I almost bought that case when I went to build my newest build. I decided to go with the Antec 1200 because I liked it when I built my brother's system in the same case. That and I couldn't find any blue LED Cooler Master HAF cases. Now I've kinda decided I like red better. I may end up swapping cases eventually, but the 1200 still looks great, so it's not a priority.

As for my setup, I finally got my dream setup. Three 24" monitors. It was like pulling teeth trying to get 2 more monitors of the same model at a decent price used... Everywhere I look they are selling used for more than I paid for my first one new 2 years ago. Eyefinity for gaming shortly.

Before, most current picture I have. 24" middle, 19" on sides. It's amazing how much bigger the 24" monitors are side by side. Smaller tower on the floor is my filesharing server. Upgraded to a laser printer since the picture

This is a really old picture of my HTPC setup. I'm looking into a better TV stand and a real HTPC case to go on the shelf of the TV stand. The server will go in the HTPC case, but that won't be for awhile either. I got a new surround sound receiver since this picture.

Workstation wouldn't describe my space. I'd describe my space as 'Mess'. There also is a couple of PC's that aren't shown in these pictures.
