Yeah, it stinks up after awhile with all those food in there so baking soda is a must. Actually, those leaf wrapped item are Chinese Tamales. They are soo good. A friend of mine gave me a sample one day and I grew to love them. It has sweet rice, mushrooms, and pork meat in it. Mmmmmm. THe containers on the bottom are potato salad and leftover chicken ceasar salad.
Those bamboo leaves is a nice touch. I don't like the Mexican tamales that much though. I also forgot to mention that in the little freezer compartment, I have two TV dinners in there. One Salisbury Steak and another Turkey Gravy. Mmmm. So much fat, but so delicious.
Hmm...depends on the place I guess. The traditional way is to use Lotus leaf. Yeah, I never had Mexican tamales. Aren't they wrapped in that corn leaf stuff?
Haha, gotta love TV dinners...so convenient and so yummy.
Those mexican tamales use corn husk and cornmeal for the stuffing. Everything's corn. Then there's some meat in there. There's also vegetarian tamales too, but they don't taste that good to me.
