you bought a cheap keyboard I think. My desktop mouse lasts about 2 weeks and my laptop mouse a month.

I didn't buy it, I just got it with a lot I got in trade for something else. Maybe I just have no idea how to use them, but I figured they were supposed to last more than 1 day. No big deal, I sold it for $10 with the warning that the batteries died every day for me...probably a defective user , the buyer hasn't said anymore back on the wireless set so I'm assuming they worked out for him. I'm happy being wired. I'd rather not have to deal with replacing the batteries at all on my keyboard or mouse since they don't ever leave my desk... The only thing I have wireless anymore is my home network (3 systems wireless, the rest wired).
