aha mines the c700, you got better model than me mind you, my screen is broke and needs repairing

thanks, but tbh i havnt even looked into how to repair the screen, although i got told very basic that i may need to replace the wire with an IDE cable (split it in half) and sodler it on

So what you are saying is the video cable is damaged? I might be able to dig one up in the blackhole that my room is.

yeah i think it is, as the screen only works when tilted really low




but, when starting up, it sorta works without it being tilted really low, then when it goes onto desktop it completely goes


and haha, well, thankfully i whent mad and organised my room the other week

Oh, it may just be a lose connector on the back of the LCD. I've fixed a laptop just like that before. All you gotta do is disconnect it and reconnect it and apply tape to keep it in place. The connector should be behind the LCD panel in the upper middle region of the screen. Sometime massaging that area will fix it. Otherwise you need to take apart the screen assembly.

For example, I have my iBook and it's LCD connector shown below.
