I tried that, but you know what happened? The Dock itself gets minimized too so my Desktop is left with nothing there.

I tried doing that by adding the Show Desktop to the Dock and sure enough, it was a successful add. But the same problem occured. Do you happen to know the directory of the original target to where Show Desktop is located at? Maybe the link was wrong which is why the Show Desktop doesn't work.

The DOck does have it's bugs. Several times already, I had errors from it forcing the Dock to shut down. But the neat features from it still prevents me from going back to the old Taskbar. FOr example, My Computer has a neat little animation where it expands when you click on it and all it's subfolders. It's called the Flyout menu. Really neat to watch it perform. I get a kick now just playing around with the Dock.
