I had style xp for a while but it slowed down my computer loads so i unistalled it, it also co-incided with when my computer screwed up so I blame it for that

You mean like the start bar and stuff? That's done with a program called Style XP, look for it under Download.com

Nik00117 thats one wicked DT mate! i like the colour scheme!!! i have windowsblinds4 atm on here to do that. and im using some sorta different pointer too.

thats a good idea about a competition, though i think that we need a new thread to elect nominees in that goes for a certain period of time. each member is only allowed to put ONE entry in for nominations and the other members can say which ones they like. they can only vote for ONE desktop though.

the mods then have the grueling task of going thru the thread and picking the top5 or 10 or something that are voted best and then a NEW thread is made with a poll option for each members desktop that was nominated. then its a simple voting process that has a CLEAR winner! (or a tie possibly) and each members image is displayed in the thread but no other stuff is allowed into it.

that sounds like itd work i guess.
