My quest for sub-30 on my 4000+ has finally come to an end!!! :D :D :D

Ran my RAM at 2-3-2-5 1T...lol. It's rated at 2.5-3-3-6 2T. And the voltage is a false-reading; PC Probe says 1.60, and I set it accordingly in the BIOS. :D

Good lord, Jordan. I bet it crashed right after that, too.
He has hit 3 GHz but it crashes when you try to do something.

Very nice OC. Do you think you can push it to the 3 Ghz mark?

Thanks! And I've done 3GHz (3.02;)) before, and it's actually pretty stable as far as internet usage goes. I even got it CPU-Z verified. It's not quite as bad as D-Lew made it out to be. :p The problem is: SuperPi doesn't think it's stable. I get "Not exact in round" errors within a second of starting up the 1M test. I haven't tested games @ 3GHz yet; may do that soon.

Haha, actually it didn't! It was very, very stable there because of the massive voltage I believe. I also upped the RAM voltage to 2.85.

EDIT: Approaching the sub-29 mark now. :D

Just fooled around with the in-depth RAM settings some. Makes no difference in the real world, but it really shows in the synthetic benchies!

Also, anyone know what "DRAM Idle Timer" is? I didn't see anything like that in the BIOS, and 16 clocks seems awfully high. But since I don't know what it is, it probably won't even do anything if I change it; that is, if I figure out how to.

Just got 13 seconds with my E6600 OC to 3850 MHz!!! I think that's the CF record so far for 1M?

Dang, man! That's a massive OC, very nice job! That's probably a record, I'd assume. I hate those C2D's. :p

Haha, yeah. Once I RMA my RAM, I'll actually put the thing in it's case with fans and stuff. Then I'll spend some time screwing with the voltages instead of having the board automatically do them, and maybe I'll be able to hit 4 GHz!!!

well...there's a leak in the radiator...so I'll need to find it and maybe repair it or get a new rad. Thinking about getting a new one...
