No, you're thinking of 3dmark. SuperPi tests CPU and RAM.

so is almost 1 minute normal for a 3.GHZ xeon that is hyperthreading??? 1gb ram

Couldn't quite get mine under 30 seconds...pretty good though for an Athlon 4000 with 1GB RAM, though. That's the highest I've ever gotten my CPU: 2850MHz.

Don't know... I'm not in the know about xeons. Mine's around 32s for a 1M calculation.

and the reason i thought that it was display adapter related is that when i enabled hyperthreading, it didnt make a difference.

amd athlon 64x2 4200+ 1 gig of ram, 45 sec for 1mil.

not overclocked.
