well ausus is crap since I only temporarly fixed my mobo I get stop errors eveyr 10 minutes sometimes, All I wanted to do was play simcity 4 for a lil bit and the damn thing had a stop error, then rebooted, and before the login screen loads, blue screen, and at a constant cycle of 6 times! I even reseated my ram, redid my paging file, etc. (since it says PFN_list_Corrupt) and you could guess, it has soemthing to do with the paging file! I think its the RAM interfacing in my mobo is screwy, I even exchanged a stick from a rival IC (Samsung) and had the same results.

whatever you do dont go with asus!

It could've been a manufacturing defect. Just because one motherboard dies on you doesn't mean it sucks. I've been using my ASUS K8V SE Deluxe motherboard for almost two years now and it's perfectly stable. Also, ASUS is very well known for their stability and lack of taste in colors, which is why lots of PC enthusiasts like ASUS for the stability, but hate showing them in the case window because the colors are so bland.

well I don't care how it looks. I jsut want soemthing stable. and asus isn't I know like 100's of people with teh same problems on my same board and 50 with others. They have all had the same type of probs with them. I think they have bad interfacing with RAM and Northbridge and also amd is at fault too since their cpu's think they can multiply by zero! They also have problems where it can use 150% cpu power on any given process! which is pretty stupid IMO!

nForce2, right? Yeah, Ownage has that motherboard...and it's rock solid. I can definately vouch for that (and his stupid 6800 GT... ).
