thats one thing im glad i dont have to worry about no matter what.

yea i dont know if youve seen one of these in person but let me tell you, YES it blows hot air out of the back like a jet engine, and just as loud as one too. this thing is freakishly loud. anything 70% fan speed or above is pretty annoying, but i keep it on 90 or above all the time because i dont want to deal with the overheating issues i hear about.

lol, idk how your case handles heat, but in mine i just let the blower style fan on my 4850 (has the same style as your 5970) on auto fan speed an it stays pretty cool, even in Crysis. Granted its only one GPU, not 2.

The cooler is setup similar to the stock one for my 4870 x2, which sounds like a dyson eating a sock.

Put that thing on water, or replace the cooler. Just don't leave it screaming inside your PC case.

What temps are you getting?

i honestly havent watched it too much, hottest i saw it at was 70 after playing BFBC2

Icy cool case. Everything except the GPU (and RAM but it's only 1.65 volts) is on liquid. But I'll put the 470 on liquid next week. It heats up quick, and though it's not bad, it's more than I want. My GTS250 barely puts out any heat as a PhysX card so that's no worry.
