yeah i definetly like the 1950pro, but i hate the 1950xtx, imagine getting dust in there...have fun cleaning.

x1337: the heatsink that im complaining about came with a $2000 video card, so i think i have every right to complain.

Actually, the X1950's candy red cooler is vastly improved. The design is pretty good, and even better than the X1900 coolers (those were ownage, but had to be at max speed to work best). It's like those Arctic-Cooling Silencer ones, but better looking.

Anyways, have you seen the X1950 Pro? Jesus christ that card looks nice! It's single slot and the cooler pretty much covers the whole PCB. You can thank Digital PWM for that.

It's not TOO bad. Just take it off every half a year or so, get a can of compressed air, go outside and have fun. After that, you can even re-apply the thermal paste and such. At least the performance of the stock cooler is good enough to warrant such cleaning.

just to let you know, If you get 800 Points in 3dmark06 and my 6600GT gets about 1,600 Points in 3dmark06 How does your 7300GS beat mine
