It's the best part of the game too. You got to have good graphics, otherwise, there's no game. It's a huge part of the experience. In my case, there's only one simple solution:

UPGRADE TIME

I'm going to have a lot of fun with this next year when Penryn is released. Hopefully when that time comes around, the new 700 series chipset will also be out too. For sure, I really like UT3 without a doubt.

You always know when it's time to upgrade when you can no longer play an enjoyable game like Crysis or UT3 at normal settings anymore. My settings are actually at default right now (nothing over the top and nothing OC'ed either) and it looks that good (according to the screenshots). This game has a huge potential on a better machine and that's what I'm aiming to do.

Early next year will be a great year for system builders because we're at the breaking point of a transition. Conroe and Kentsfield are towards its maturity so Penryn can come out, we're getting new chipsets, and DDR3 will be further pushed to mainstream.

Same here. I have trouble with my system at low, although I hope it's just an optimization or driver issue rather than a hardware deficiency, seeing as my system isn't old.

But the good thing is that my dad needs a new computer, and agreed to use my old parts for building one for him, meaning I get to upgrade next year.

Graphics can create the atmosphere, the settings, and the feeling of what you are doing in this game. Try playing bioshock on min settings.
The atmosphere goes right out the window, and half of what made that game a good game in the first place just disappears.

UT3 on the other hand, I would be content playing on low settings if it runs well. It's emphasis is it's gameplay, but has great graphics for those of us with good hardware.

HAHAHHAHA, I can't believe I did it!!!! I ordered a dual channel set of G.Skill DDR400 RAM (2 x1GB). So now, I'll have 3GB all together. I didn't want to waste the 1GB I have in there now so I kept it.

Man, cost me $125 for that. Then I spend another $75-80 for an Athlon64 X2 3800+ Toledo CPU. It was the highest I can upgrade with it being compatible. Next step up, I would have to get a new motherboard because there's nothing higher than the Toledo X2 CPU besides the Opteron and I wasn't about to get those. It's the OEM so I had to find a cooler for it that will fit my motherboard (RAM sits too close to the retention module) + Arctic Silver). Haha, looks like I just did my upgrade for around $200. Not bad I guess. That dual core should make a huge difference to go along with my 3GB of RAM. Now we'll see what kind of frame rate I get.........Everything's on order right now. So I may have it up and running next week sometime. The cooler, I didn't order from Newegg. It's from CWC since they have the cooler that fits in my system. That's going to take at least 3-7 days to get here. Slow.

going a little too fast on wet roads lol

It's all right. You can even quadruple post if you like. The limitations of posting picts for each thread is already a limiting factor. I would go ahead and triple post or even make 6 post in a row if it involves pictures.
