2 reasons:

1. my desk isn't big enough

2. The walls are bloody awful. I had a shelf above my desk about a year ago which fell off. It was fine for a couple months, and it had very little stuff on. When the case alone weighs 20Kg, with parts weigh ~35, a hell of a lot more than what was on the shelf which fell, there is no chance I'm putting one up for it. I don't want it falling on my head, but more importantly, I don't want to damage the case or stuff inside :P

I can have it in another room, however, it gets no wireless signal there. I have to clean the filter every week or so having it where it is, but to have internet, it is worth it

I didn't have any cable ties or fan clips. I'm going to Scan on Saturday and picking up some cable ties, thermal paste, another fan for my CPU (actually a replacement, the one I have now is cheap, not very good and has had the wires spliced as a ghetto mod so it will connect to a fan header on my mobo) and another mobo replacement (this one has a dodgy fan header), then it will be right against . Until then, there is just string holding it on, but to be honest, the picture makes it look worse than it really is, you are talking about a couple mm gap, it doesn't affect anything really.

WHY DO I KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS!?!
Because I don't have the money for water, and because air is plenty. Overclocked, my CPU is only mid 20s under load, sub 20s idle. My GTX260, overclocked (all I have in for the moment as I'm testing) is 60s under load, ~50 when gaming, mid 40s idle, so my temps are great, why pay for a custom loop? (yet ). It is something I will probably invest in eventually, but for now, air is all I need and want

haha well my case is empty again for another while thanks to one of my fan headers shorting. The fan was in fine, the fan itself was fine, but the header took out the circuitry around it, so that header didn't work, and I couldn't get it replaced thanks to there being physical damage. Scan are sending it back to asus, but til then, I'm sat without a system again, and on my netbook

I just got a Scythe Gentle Typhoon too + cable ties + AS5 for my CPU, so that gap isn't there any more, the fan is right against the heatsink, and the fan is MUCH better too

I had a fan header go out on my dad's computer. Old Asus 939 board, the header went out with a flash and some smoke.

I have a few Scythe GTs and they're nice fans. The bearings are really smooth.

The bastard at Scan tried to say that it was my fault, not a hardware fault, though that particular worker is an arse, I've dealt with him before and customer service, or general manners for that matter, is his lowest priority. I said to him I tried a working fan on it and it didn't work, I tried the fan that was originally in it on another header and it worked fine, so how could it be a problem I have caused. One of his co-workers said but you may have changed some settings and put too much current through it, to which I replied show me on any motherboard where you have the option to change fan voltage. He couldn't answer.

I understand that they have policies and can't bend it just for me, but the people I dealt with didn't have a clue about even the basics. A manager came out and found me a B-Grade board as a loan whilst mine was being repaired. I went with him to the warehouse and had to tell him the difference between AM3 and AM2+ and why I couldn't use an AM2+ board with my current setup...

And I tried out the replacement he gave me, but it wouldn't work, it doesn't POST, but it did let me see my fan in action, and my god, it is totally silent and looks gorgeous

It's one thing when they don't know much, but it really sucks when you have to deal with a prick.

I decided to throw in the other two GT 1850s I had laying around. The one the CPU is running at full speed with a gutted fan spacer. The top exhaust has a Noctua 3-pin resistor and is running probably around 1000 RPM. The rear fan is running at a variable RPM based on NB temperatures. Works pretty well, stays low while doing desktop stuff and cranks up while gaming.

I'm finally going to finish the sleeving in my case. I decided against doin an invert on the tj07. It looks good, but you lose a lot of the case's features. Plus i'd have to find a new side panel without a window for the left side as well as make a window for the right side panel.

Prick does not even come close. It isn't just how he speaks, it is the whole way he carries himself. If I have to deal with him again, I'm finding out his name and putting in a complaint. I love Scan but he by no means represents their customer service or overall quality

Are those 2 CPU fans, or a single large 1?

If 2, it is a waste, you would be better with push pull. Like it is now, the air is going the same speed as 1 fan when it goes into the heatsink, even though there are 2. If you had push/pull, it would make the air move faster through the heatsink, and allow more to be drawn through, giving much better temps.

Also, not sure if you are aware, but your case is upside down

fills me with confidence, i'm going to try and get my PSU replaced by scan since it's still under warranty, and it was behind a surge protector and still died 0.o

they've always been good to me in the past though.

They are always good to me, like I said, he doesn't reflect the service that you usually receive from all of the other members of staff
