It depends on the filter, but I don't run them because I'd rather not have the restriction.

You can daisy chain a few fans together without problems. I would avoid doing this with high-speed 38mm thick fans though.

I get nervous about running those on my board. I have a 4k 120x38 for my exhaust hooked up to my board and I fear it will overdraw the port. I haven't found a fan controller I like yet. I hate those really large switches or knobs. I really like the Scythe Kama Meter, but I can't find it anywhere.

so lets say if its sitting on a desk, dust isnt a big issue?

never tried no dust filters lol

and shokking
your rear fan wires will fight behind the mobo tray

ex:

you can see the wires going behind the panel in the top of the pics.

all my case fans in the rear and top go to one molex and all the front fans go to another molex, on the same rail.

i was looking atgetting the coolmaster v8 for my i5 build, im stuck between that and a thermaltek spinQ. How does it perform?

with some down clocking and lowering voltage i got that with ambiant temps of 27F, below freezing.

spin Q review" http://www.overclockersclub.com/revi...maltake_spinq/

V8 review" http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/cm_v8/

seems after OCing and adding voltage the SpingQ cant keep up with the V8 or the TRUE.

The Cooler Master V8 was also able to beat out every single CPU cooler (including the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme) that it was paired against.

SpinQ looks cool, but performance isn't that great.
