Gallery: Cases

Making this thing look as good as it does is pretty much a walk in the park. External CD/DVD drive takes away a lot of the clutter, then I just routed the wires in not-so-visible places. The case hasn't been modded in any way at all.

Some of the newer Lian-Li full towers are sexy, I just can't justify getting one after spending $250 on this case.

Same, after reading the reviews for the the v2010 (the case that yours is based off of) and the v1010 (mid tower version of the 2010, but $50 more lol)....I noticed that Lian-Li's customer service sucks, they do a poor job of packing the cases, and the placement of the cable management holes is poor. I think I may get the ABS/Tagan that you have. My dad has an external DVD drive that he doesn't need any more (I think it's made by LG, it's pretty nice, actually). I would need some long cables (just for my SATA drives really, since my PSU leads are very long). This may come out to be cheaper than I thought, since I really only need to buy the case and possibly some SATA cables. I don't think I'm going to put lights in it just yet (or at all).

My external DVD drive is made by LG and has been serving me fine for about a year. You do need the long SATA cables though. I also have a Velcro cable tie keeping the SATA cables (somewhat lol) straight.

Okay, cool. I may order this soon, probably when I get my next paycheck. I might as well buy myself something nice this summer, since I know I won't have nearly enough by the end of the summer for a car.

BTW, Cabbs, are those Scythe Kama Bays in the drive bays on your case? I'm just wondering because apparently this case doesn't have the best airflow, and they make it look sexier too (as opposed to the individual drive bay covers).

Yeah, two Scythe Kama Bays up front. Airflow in this case is great when you get those in, as there are no intake fans for the motherboard area. It also does not come with the exhaust fans for the top.

Haven't posted updates on my rig for a while. These are old though...I haven't gotten around to any new pictures. Since these pictures, I'm added 2-UV cold cathodes, changed all my SATA cables to UV reactive blue cables, put the hard drive cage back in since I added my 1TB Sammy Spin Point, and I've tidied up my cable management a bit more (which is hard to do in this case!). It's good enough for me.

I gotta second that Dude this has got to be one of the worst cases in the world when it comes to cable management. Did you put the cathodes on the side arm? I got mine on there and it works pretty good cuz you cant see them when they aren't on. I will try and get some pics of mine up soon since I havent updated mine since I got my new build.

AMD's mounting clips are a really secure mounting system, but it annoys me how you have to mount 90% of coolers out there horizontally. Looks good though.

Woot! The price for the case I want went down $40 today. I might get it today.

Edit: I bought it, along with some SATA cables and Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound. $201 total including shipping.
