@hascet, the way the dumb AM2 clip things are its either up or down so i chose to go up and out with the huge fans sucking it out

J, I only told him to increase his shutter time so he can take more difficult shots where a tripod or a box doesn't fit. I know all about the lighting, exactly why I told him to increase ISO and the aperture. I guess the cameras we used at school were much stronger because I was taking pictures at 200-400 and the noise level was fine.

Ah ok, that kind of stinks, but it should still work pretty good because you have air going through two of the four sides.

My camera doesn't handle higher ISO's too well. Aperture was opened up all the way.

I bet that sounds like a 747 on a take off roll. I sleep in the same room with my rigs so not only do they have to run cold but run quietly.

surprisingly enough, when all the fans are adjusted to "low" then its not that loud. But yes, if i set the out-takes and intakes to full power...then it does roar.
usually when i sleep, i put the computer to "sleep" or i just completely shut it down. I don't leave it running all the time, it would suck up way to much power. and it'd be pretty brite too LOL :)
