then you probably wont dig everything else i did to that car, like take it to the quarter mile track after breaking it in and posting 14.9 on a completely stock setup

...or the drop i did to it and raced it at about 10 autocross events, placing 5th in the hardest of those events against a class of 30 other competitors who ALL had two door midget cars (ie: weighing 1/3 to 1/2 as much as mine).

I guess you wont approve of the pix in the Audio competition section of my site, where you'll see pix of chix digging the car, and all the 1st and 2nd place trophies i won, cause of that car on those "ugly" rims...but then again, i dont care what you think.(SEE ABOVE)

OMG you take it to seriosly i said i wasnt diggin those rims i like big shinny crome rims on SUV's and some cars i would prefee to go the sporty look maybe some black rims suit you car i am a fan of black or gunmetal. You got a nice audio. But its overkill unless you what you do, go and compete for audio sistems.

well, saw this and figured i should post some pics up of my car. Its a 98 Ford Escort ZX2 (yeah, i know, its an escort). There's quite a bit done to it but i really dont wanna list everything. Few of the big things, it used to have gray interior(no i didn't paint, thats kinda ricerish imo, but i did swap everything out to the dark charcol). Its been a fun car but i'm looking forward to getting my MazdaSpeed 6 this summer and then getting back into the rotory with a 3rd gen RX7, used to have a 2nd gen and boy do i miss it. anyway, hope you think it looks decent, she definently turns heads for being an escort. thanks for looking.

Z-TEC Powa, Yo!
lol, just kidding. I own a ZX3 by the way.

Here's the deal... what would you guys think about a 35 shot NX or NOS wet kit on my car? Worth it, or not? It would probably be about $650 installed, but for 35hp that's pretty good for the price. Also, don't say "get a 75 shot" or "get a turbo" cause I can't. My torque converter is too weak, and will break if exposed to any more torque than a 35 shot would. Have any of you guys had any experience with N2O? Too bad I can't use it for autocross, but it would probably drop my drag time about 1-1.5 seconds and would be fun from red lights.

well, if your looking for some cheap h/p it might be worth it. but eventually you will come to the conclusion i have. its a cheap economy car thats not built to handle power. you would have alot more room to play if you had a 5spd, but is it honestly worth 650 bucks to make a 17-18 second car a 16-17 second car. mine will do mid-high 15's at the track and i think its a joke, 75 shot would throw me into mid 14's but then your just fighting for traction the whole time. in the end its up to u, but unless your buck wild about your car hardcore (like i used to be) or u think that its going to make you happy i wouldn't bother with nitrous. you mentioned autox, get some stuff that would benifit that more like headwork or cams (Which are also less likely to kill your engine). the benifit you get from some really well worked cams would be much more than a 35 shot and you get it all the time, sct chip is also a good investment and would help you out alot, and its on....all the time (and you don't need refills, lol. :)

I'm barely competitive in my class (STS) and tearing into the engine would put me in street mod... those guys are running 12 seconds faster than me already. I'd end up having to do an engine swap to keep up if I was in that class! 5.0 anyone? I've been thinking about a chip but I have a feeling since the car is lightly modded, it won't do much besides make me use 93 oct and firm up my shifts.

I tried driving a manual car today, what a bad experiance..Never knew it was so much work..

haha, yah I know. When I get my license I will be driving a manual truck. So a few weeks ago I went and tried to drive my dads...wow! It is alot more work, but you get the hang of it after I while. Just under pressure I peeled out at a stop light for a good 3 sec. Revved of the engine without letting out the clutch soon enough. ahaha :p
