You spend a few grand on a sub system that will make you go completely deaf in what, 11dB?

Also, its pointless to have all that power just for the fact that when your listening to you, your going to wonder were the actual vocals are.

Thats a competing system right? And you do it for money.. (well I assume your calling mine a baby system) im 15. I can do anything for money yet, and I rathter not go deaf. Plus I want it to sound good and blend.

So id love to have my baby system over your system that would make my ears bleed.

NO, i dont do this for money...i think only national events give out money, but ive never been to one. I guess you didnt venture into my site and see the 600.4 powering the high end Diamond Audio comps in the front doors.

When you mean 2 door midget cars, I hope you dont mean coupes...Coupes own any sedan, easily..Im sure your talking about cars like the ford focus and what not..Ehh they're alright, I dont have nothing against them thought, to each his own...

you would be surprised how slow these cars can get in an autocross event when driven by novice drivers....that is what i pride myself when i go to these events, cause i dont even take out my sound system. I turn the system way up and bump while in the waiting lanes, so everyone knows, then i take to the course and like i said, best finish was 5th out of 31 cars in my class...

now, give me a g35(which ive driven) or audi tt(which no one has ever showed up in to compete in) and i would own the course.

but if you have never been to one of these races, you would know that the best car to get seriously into competition with are Miata's. wanna learn more?

Im not missing the point, its just that there is a point that enough is enough, and you have way more then enough. If you metere 150dB and listen to that with your daily drivers? Well, my friend your going to have major hearing problems.

have a looksee and be merry...learn something while you're there as well, cause it is an informative sight. if you know anything about competing, you will know that i tune for SPL and retune for SQ/daily driving. plus i never play full tilt when im in the car. ive been doing this since i was for over 10 yrs now, so im not stupid about hearing loss...

Man its so funny how lambos and all them cars are like 6figs, but the interior sucks ass..Is it me, or does Lexus and Infiniti have better interior then exotic cars..When I see the pics of lambo interiors, they dont look all that great...Kinda cheap lookin if you ask me...And they dont even come with a nice system, for a 6fig car you think it would have bose and jls..But all they have is a like a shitty cd head unit, and who knows what kind of speaker..Just my take on it...If I had 100+gz to spend, I would just get a Lexus GS 2007..and hook it up...rather then a lambo..

youve got some good taste, GS430....! but bloze stereo??? come on, if you're a JL fan, Bose is the last audio equipment you would(should) mention.

as for interiors, the Z06 has no padding and the leather starts to crack within a year...i dont own one but i cked one out extensively at an autocross event i raced in...the interior was disappointing

Anyone watch the show "unique whips" on the speed channel? Its great, its about this compny, "Unique Autosports"..and its run by this dude, and he has like 7 main workers, and they customize celeb cars and shit..Throw jls, tvs and all, preety cool show...Another on is top gear, now thats a good show, but I never see it on anymore, so I just download the episodes aaha.

i catch it every once in a while...since i havent been competing since my son was born...shows like that one keep me in the loop of what is hot right now...

Thanks^ yeah, I mean, Ive seen s500's with better navi and interior, then what lambos have..I mean, how do you pay 200,000+ and not get navi standard...? Heh, I'm a bose fan, I think the speakers are good, Im no expert though...Only because Ive sat in a 04 maxima with bose, 8 way 320watts stock, and it sounds amazing...Just for reference, I dont have a g35x, just yet...Prooly getting it in november.

if you want louder, you buy more of them, not buy a bigger sub. There is a reason why car audio subs arent 20" in diameter.

the larger the sub, the lower its FS which means you can play low bass effortlessly and louder than using a smaller sub...so if you like to make your bowels move cause of sound pressure, go ahead and get a wicked 18 like this:
