Ahh, I see. Yeah, a lot of the lighting purists on Bimmerforums tend to prefer the FX35 for the bi-xenon capabilities or the S2000 projectors since they arguably are the best projectors you can use for a retrofit.

I wish I had the tools to retrofit mine...

I only used the J30 projectors because I had seen someone else use it in the same housing, and I could easily get my hands on a set from the junk yard for cheap. Had I known I would need to cut the low beam projector from the high beam I definitely would have gone with a different projector. One guy used M3 e55 projectors. He had to cut the shroud to fit, but it looks good. Those projectors alone are expensive though, and then add the cost of the shroud... They would be nice though because they have low and high beam. Pic of his with e55's.

There's already a car thread...but I drive a '07 Focus (hatchback). It's not really mine; I'm not taking it to college.
