Car Thread!

Usually stock struts on most cars don't take to lowering very well. This depends largely on how low the drop is of course. I went with Tokico HP struts at the same time I replaced my springs.

I couldnt afford struts :)

TRD Drop is very suitable for the stock struts. Since its an OEM part and doesnt offer a big drop. But my drop looks great with the 18" wheels.

Not your traditional ride, but at a little under $40,000(no that is not a typo) I figure it deserved a post. I bet it's more comfortable that any other car around here too, the seat cushion alone was $500. I modified the rims myself for a black on silver look, I did the underglow and the LEDs under the headlights myself(with some physical help from a friend), and I tweaked the programming on the chair to give it a little extra "umph". The underglow and headlight LEDs are controlled through wireless remotes. It also has hazards, turn signals, and a horn, but I never use them. The elevate feature raises me 10" and when I combine the tilt with the recline I can basically lie flat(works great when you need a quick nap during class). The leg rests also elevate.

Manufacturer: Permobil

And yes, if a pretty lady asks for a ride, I most certainly will give them one :-D.

My previous insurance company refused to cover even a pennies worth of durable medical equipment(DME), so for about 7 years or so I had to use donated/"hand-me-down" wheelchairs from the local MDA organization. Once my dad changed companies which came with insurance that covered 100% of DME, I went from old clunkers to the Lamborghini of all wheelchairs ;-). I have to sit in it all day, so I might as well ride in style ;-). This will probably be my last wheelchair anyways as I don't have much left in me(thank you ravages of Muscular Dystrophy) so I figured I would go out in style. I have a picture somewhere of the New England Patriot Cheerleaders sitting all around me and my chair, gotta find it and post...

got rid of my lovely civic and got myself an acura tl

the car was a theft recovery, it was just missing the seats and had a rip in the headliner.
Besides the suspension, the work wheels, and the oem kit it's fully stock. tint is coming soon along with a nice audio system. all feedback and comments good or bad are appreciated. enjoy.
