Car Thread!

Well...it just takes time and patience. To be honest I think it just makes it feel even more rewarding.

Patience. If I had that, I'd have so much more money lol. I could probably make it happen though, it's not like I don't have a way to get around.

Yeah, those JDM boys have it easy. That's why my car doesn't really have anything new except for an aluminum strut bar, Bilstein struts, H&R springs, ECU chip and an intake. I'd get headers, but most go for roughly $1,000-ish. Exhausts can vary. Some of the cheaper ones I've seen go for about $3-400 and some go up to over $1,000.

Man, that's crazy. So expensive compared to what I've done to my Neon. I don't completely regret it though, it made it much more fun to drive than before.

Yeah. Don't worry, even though I poke fun at you for it I completely understand. People have questioned why I would spend money modifying a 17 year old E36 325i and why I don't just get an M3 or something.

I think the most expensive BMW that I've heard of is the Security Seven. It's a 7 series complete with bullet proof glass, armor and every luxury feature you could possibly think of and then a couple more. I think they run about $250,000.

I'd rather have an M series, I'm not picky, 3, 5, 6 series M, any one of them would do!

Ive seen a BMW 5 series security first hand , great car they have loads of security options as well 22mm balistic glass that can even protect against even .44 magnum . Run flat tires that mean you can drive even when the tires have been punctured

they even run driver training classes for people

Yeah, BMW has their own line of "Security" cars with enhanced protection like bulletproof windows, thicker bodywork and a whole bunch of other nifty options.
