Hey,

Very large thread!, My wife is Driving the Crossfire SR6 Turbo Charged (Got Turbo Added Later After Bought) and Im driving the Caddy Escalade.

Pics please... I love them crossfires....

This was my rice burner but I sold her when we had a baby cuz there was no backseat.. I had a turbo b16 engine swap In her and she FLEW...

Upgraded to a luxury car tho.. Lincoln LS FULLY Loaded

I keep telling myself that, but it never works. I kinda want to save for a E36 M3, but I'm not sure. I do know that whatever I get next can't be FWD.

Yeah, I've decided that I'm just saving up. We'll see how the E46 M3s depreciation goes after a year or two.

Nice. Those engines have so much potential. Not a fan of the mods on the CRX...a little too "ricey" for me. Props on the engine though.

yeah, but remember here that you have a guage to monitor engine temp. The engine isnt going to overheat and blow a head gasket on fire up. Like I said my old stang had a stock 4 banger 2 core rad. I could get it warm, and if i wasnt paying attention I couldve got it to overheat....but that was driving like a madman.

That's true. for putting around town and what not, it should be ok. My plan is to get the wiring harness, and everything all prepped before hand. Then After work on Friday one weekend, start. Spend the entire weeked through Sunday night trying to get that 5.0 in and running, so on Monday I have something to get to work in. If I can't do that, I might be able to drive my mom's minivan for a couple days... I will even take it too work running straight headers on monday if I have to maybe, lol, then take it to the exhaust shop afterwards...

Yeah I used to love it cuz when you look at it it doesn't really look like much but I used to KILL people in races. I had the after market guages too which gave it away to anyone in the car tho cuz the redline wasnt till almost 8 grand.. well that and the AEM boost contol guage..

I also had a skunk 2 shortshifter and some sweet eibach ground control spings and AEM strut and sway bars so she handled like a dream... I also had some DC sport headers AEM cold air intake routed to the grill and Red Venom fuel rail which matched the red Vtech valve covers... Lets just say that when I wanted to get somewhere I didnt have a problem.. I have a friend who is a professional tuner too he specializes in 300z's tho but he got some extra ponies outta my girl too..

Sounds pretty nice. I always liked the CRX for the wheelbase. Tuning that car for handling isn't that hard since it's so small and nimble to begin with. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's hard to make it look good. Hondas and Toyotas just have too many shitty aftermarket parts out there. Gotta get the good stuff like Powerhouse Amuse and some proper JDM stuff on there.

On a side note, I'm gonna be running projectors and HID's soon. I really wanted to keep the stock look, but visibility at night takes a higher priority.

Oh nice. Yeah, I was thinking about getting new HID projectors for my car, but whatever.

Now I'm saving every penny I can get for my future E46 M3 or Z3 M Coupe. Mmm...just thinking of that beautiful S54B32 straight six makes me feel all warm and cuddly inside.
