It's actually my second car, but it is pretty nice for me. My first car was a cheapo '92 Tempo that ran pretty good for it's age actually. Looked like crap, but can't expect much from a $500 car. I had that car for 2 yrs before getting my current car. My car is really a Ford Escort Zx2, but they dropped the Escort in '99 I think. My car was the last year of the Escort, in 2004 the Focus totally replaced it. Bad move by Ford IMO because they were good cars. But then again, if the Escort was still around it would probably have ended up like the Taurus or something (the rebadged Five Hundred now)...

The Escort and Focus were so similar though and the Focus was a good car in its own right. They were just cutting costs and making for less redundancy.

There are enough differences for some people to not like Focuses and like Escorts more though. I know there would still be loyal Escort owners now if they were still the same car and still in production. And it doesn't seem too redundant after the fact for having a second small car with good gas mileage with the gas prices the way they were. I know no one saw that coming, so I can't totally blame Ford, but they could have at least made the Focus with better gas mileage than 35... The most fuel efficient non-hybrid they have...

yo my dad says i need toc heck my car for arcing?

okay my car runs fine until i splash through a puddle of any size, then it starts to stutter then it dies and sometimes it take a few minutes to get it running again then when I get it running if i shift into park it dies. After a few minutes i can turn it back on and shift into drive and it will be fine. My alternator and battery are good ive had them checked a million times...

so my dad says to have my car running and spray my spark plug wires I have to take them out of the cylinder to check for spark? 4 cylinder

im confused thanks!

He's saying to check for spark because if your spark plugs don't spark, the fuel doesn't ignite, and your engine doesn't run.

Couple of quick shots of my friend's Camaro, they're a little dark though. The second one was taken by him. The fogs are HID's, do want.
