I got a ticket last week too. 51 on a 40. Bull I tell you. Everyone drives 50 on that road.

Nope. Nothing will happen really. You will just have to pay your ticket. You may see some higher insurance cost, but that usually increases on the second infraction.

I told him my dad had the insurance card for the car since I was driving my mom's car (mine was in the shop). He didn't write me up for it though.

Doubt it. You weren't going over that much. In California you usually have 3 options.

1.) Pay the fines and get a point on your license.
2.) Go to traffic school and pay for that but you don't get a point on your license
3.) Go to traffic court and contest the ticket.

Depends on the Porsche. And I would rather have something I could get/afford parts for.

I've never had any kind of moving violation in the almost two years I had my license. But I did get busted for watching street races.
