The engines and transmissions in those things are really strong. It's not surprising to hear about 500+ WHP on stock internals. Be prepared for torque steer, you will definitely get that with an SRT-4.

You'll get torque steer in any FWD if you have enough power. It's just an inherent trait of the setup.

Looks like a nice car though. I've seen a lot of people push a ton of power in one of those.

One of my friends has one that put down 485 WHP with stock internals.

Haha, I like the RX8 too, real nice car. I'm just more of a fan of high-flying ground clearance. Rock crawling... that's what I want to do someday, and drive a baja truck sometime, my dreams, lol.
