speed limiter, not rev limiter.

Still rev limiter goes up when hiting a higher speed. Thats why speed gov exist, gay like the ones in Japan that limit to around 140kph.

Huh? Unless something is forcing the engine to spin faster than the rev limiter, you aren't going to go over it, even if there isn't a speed limiter.

my compressor seized up and my car wouldn't run o well its at my uncles shop right now ive got the replacement pulley hopefully its not to expensive

Might be time for a new car man... You could pick up a focues or something for a couple thousand probably instead of spending $800 on repairs for a $1500 car...

Yeah, it's gonna be a tough decision. Either you sell the car for cheap and just buy another used one. Or you keep repairing this current car and keep putting so much money into it that you could've bought another used car with that money.

The truth is the truth. Cars can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

but my headgasket is still blown i had a collant leak to i guess thats fixed now to

Depends where you look. There are plenty of cars out there that you can find for a really affordable price and the whole car is mechanically fine.

my car has no speed limiter but a rev limiter at 7300rpm, so the only thing holding my car back is the redline. i've gone 135 on 3 different occasions. things move pretty quick at that speed
