Modern turbos are way more efficient as far as lag goes, and as long as you're not running one much larger than a human head, there are tricks and tuning you can do to cut it down a lot. :p

Yeah, that is true. That's probably the biggest question I have for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR. Have they fixed most of the turbo lag? I remember the Evolution IX had massive turbo lag, especially if you ran under 2,500 RPM or so. But the kick you get from a turbo is nice. I remember my friend drove me in his MR once and it was decent when he started accelerating, but once he revved past 2,500 RPM it just kicked me back into the OEM Recaros. It was quite nice actually...

STI and Evo FTW. Have you seen the "Subaru WRX STI Spec-C Type RA-R" thats a friggin long ass name. It was released in limited numbers in Japan, it has some extensive upgrades over the regular STI like revving to 8k very sexy.

It's dirt cheap though. :D
And offers more power options, say, if you want to go milder.

Every time I think of nitrous I think of The Fast and the Furious. Then everytime I think of The Fast and the Furious I think of porridge makers and 3" grapefruit launcher exhausts.

I hope the Dacia Santero gets released here soon.

James May mentioned it the past two Sundays on Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson sarcastically got upset when he heard its launch was delayed.
