A car handles how it feels... I know there's specs and stuff but if you can't connect with a car you can't drive it.

What probably went on was he couldn't get used to the Evo's AWD characteristics, read: horrible understeer. It may do better in sweepers, but there's thousands of different types of turns that may be better suited to one or the other. The Cobra, being RWD, can swing out and push into corners easier, where the Evo is probably suited to large sweepers because of how it can put massive power down on all 4 corners and redline the whole time.

I can't think of how they would do in tight technical sections, seems like they would both suck horribly. The only thing the Evo has going for it in this situation is weight and distribution.

Again, I haven't driven either, but usually AWD cars will understeer terribly unless you change out some suspension parts, I have noticed it with all the people driving stock Subies at the track.

LOL no... I was talking about the G35. I absolutely hated it. They took the traditional Skyline design and raped it hard. I was pretty disappointed.

I'm still not quite warmed up to the new one yet either, but it destroys the G35 looks-wise already.

Oh i really was referring to the G35. lol Yeah the taillights look a little weird so it's not the prettiest car looking from the back but that aside I think things look pretty sharp.

Actually the more I look at the taillights I really hate the polygonal look to them. Although in red the rear on the G35 looks not bad as it seems to soften the harsh edges. If you would direct your attention below:

Also, I am glad to see that Nissan decided to revise the front end from what they had initially released the GT-R to be.

They almost did the same think with this one by f***ing up the lights (but only the front this time) as they did with the G35.

Also, one more thing, the GT-R is going to be one badass car once tuners get a hold of it (i mean tuners who know how to do things tastefully).

And I wasn't really dissing the G35 as a car, but rather as a Skyline...

It just didn't make sense to me why they changed it so radically.

I dont think the ZR1 I going to be the "Car to beat". They say that about every Corvette. I personally go Viper over Corvette two great rivals. But when I find out the car I am thinking of I will show you.

ya i do. i didn't realize it was meant to be a successor to the past Skyline so on that note I'm sure it was a disappointment to a lot of people.

Viper is just a showy car. My cousin's cousin owns one, and its good in a straight line, but other then that, it has nothing, and the vette is just about as good as it in a straight line. The vette dominates it in everything else though. Now a viper with a Venom Kit... Then it is a beast. 1200hp, 1000 ounds more downforce, it can probably do pretty good then...

I'd rather have the Corvette over the Viper. The Viper is way too heavy for my tastes...it might have the engine and the horsepower, but that means nothing if you can't put it down on the ground and if the car is bogged down by weight. The Corvette is a fine balance of weight, handling and power.

Great in a straight line and nothing more...and we all know that drag races are booorring.

The ZR1 will be an amazing car.

Also, one more thing, the GT-R is going to be one badass car once tuners get a hold of it (i mean tuners who know how to do things tastefully).

I think the back end looks just as nice as the front the tail light are real nice (All LED's except turn signals). I do like the production front end of the GTR than the prototype one. Kudos on Nissan.

I would take the the viper I just love how it looks, a red the 93-99 pulled next to me looked real nice and had badass wide tires.

Alright, have you drove either car? I have.. I'm telling you from first hand experience... I'm not biased either.. I'm just telling you what i experienced...

The cobra handled just as well if not better than the evo..

ohh and if you know anything about drag racing, .7 second difference is a HUGE difference i'n the quarter....

I certainly hope your observations aren't as bad as your reading. They were only 1/10th of a second off of each other! I'll keep proving my point over and over again because more and more comparison tests will come out. I love both cars, but fact is fact and I'll be posting as I find.
