Haha, this thread hs grown like another 3 pages since I looked at it the day before. It's more like an IM conversation now then people just posting, lol.

Anyway, I read a page back about you guys all spinning out... ME TOO!! lol, winter with a RWD truck kinda sucks, lol. I was going around a turn, gave it a little gas, and teh back end whipped... I was facing the ditch, 90 to the road, lol, and still moving about 30mph, but with a couple fancy manuvours, I corrected it. Again. I've done that a bunch of times, not on turns usually, but on straight roads.
Or just go into parking lots and do donuts on purpose, lol. Our whole church youth group was one day, lol.

Anyway, thats my fish tail story...

it might keep up with the golf, but all the others would leave it standing. cant find figures on there for a couple of them, but the RX-8 is a nice car, but no comparison against the others..

ANd that was the vette C6 not the Z06, lol. So if the C6 can beat it, the Z06 will smoke it.

Sorry to burst your bubble but those stats are bull. I know it from a different country and maybe thats why its throwing things off but many of those figures are off

ok, so you claim from there thats its 0.3s quicker than parkers has it.. that would still be left standing by the other cars mentioned..

Lets use a reliable source:

lol they did a 7000rpm clutch dump to get those figures, but still counts.


and give a rotary fi and you will be happy. car and driver did a test between i forget what cars, ill try to find the article, the rx8 won.

the only flaw they said was its 100hp less than perfect, but thats why greddy makes a turbo

And most of those other cars are also plenty more expensive and have 2 or 3 times the HP. So why wouldn't they be faster?
