A Talon? LOL You may be able to keep up with a Auto RX8 (Due to lower HP and lower Redline) but you'd still lose. There is NO WAY a Talon could give an SIX SPEED MT RX8 a run for its money unless it was heavily modded. NO WAY!!!

I'd happily show you what I mean if you come around my area one day. I'll happily meet you at the track.

I dunno man, you can spend practically pocket change on a DSM and mods and they will move like Hell. The RX-8 is a good car for autocross or a road course, but the AWD Talons are practically made to drag race.

I've seen otherwise, thats all I am saying.

Let get this on the table now, I'm not hear to talk about which car is faster. If anyone would like to show me their car can beat mine, we can take it to a real track. NOT A DRAG TRACK(this car was NOT built for that purpose).

If I wanted a fast straight line car, I would've never purchase this car in the first place, I would have gotten a GTO. I got the RX8 because it was pretty fast, handled very well, braked very well, had quality, uniqueness and most of all, a feeling when you actually sit in it and NEVER get tired of driving it.

LOL yeah, but when someone calls you out it's usually a drag. I'd take anyone calling me out to an autocross track but certainly not a drag. I can relate to you is all I'm saying, he's talking about the 1/4.

My SCCA Region's organizer drives an RX-8 with just Azenis I think and he always get the fastest times. But probably because he designs the tracks, haha.

And you can make a ranger go pretty fast too. I saw a video where a ranger beat an srt-10 RAM, now thats fast!!

That RX-8 looks SWEET!!!!!!!!! I want to get a flowmaster on my truck, thats on my christmas list. Some guy was reving his engine on his chevy 1500 in the parking lot. Be sweet if I had straight pipes, and I could rev back a little, lol. My friend has this POS old dodge with straight pipes and every one thinks its great, cause of the sound...

In a drag race with heavy mods, maybe. Let's see how your Talon handles in a technical course against the RX-8.
