Re: Car Thread! (unstuck)

Damn, its about time Nissan came out with a revised GT-R. I miss them and boy do they look impressive than ever!!!

Regarding that GT-R:

"GT-R has a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 engine rated 473 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 434 pounds-feet of torque starting at 3,200 rpm. All-wheel drive is standard, spreading the power among four tires instead of between just two to help keep the car stable during hard acceleration. Nissan expects it to go 0 to 60 mph in less than four seconds, as quick as some motorcycles."

Re: Car Thread! (unstuck)

I saw a GT3 on the freeway in LA a couple months back. I took a picture of it since it's so rare to see it on the road (along with my famous Back to the Future "DeLorean" car too).

I was trying to follow the GT3 while my friend was taking the shot. I guess the guy saw me tailing him so he sped up and tried to lose me. Damn, it was like a race or something. Well, I couldn't keep up with him so I just got a few shots which aren't that bad. But they are fast nonetheless.

Re: Car Thread! (unstuck)

I would first check the Kelly's Blue Book to see how much the car is actually worth. Get the mileage and the condition of the car, the features it has. Run it through that website and see what they say.

http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/default.aspx

If it's marked way below the blue book value, I would suspect there might hidden problems or the mileage is just way too high.

How much are you willing to spend on a car?

4 grand at max

EDIT: checked that site, value is estimated at 1735 american and its 1350 canadian

Re: Car Thread! (unstuck)

For 4 grand, I would look into a used Honda Civic or a Corolla. There are some nice ones if you look around. The Civic is highly customizable if that's what you're into.

What I want for my next car, a 240SX. I really like the Zenki style, like this one.
