Why arent they street legal?

If they arent, then why make them?

WTF?

Anyways, @ G35x, when you have the money to buy one of those cars, they are just toys to you.

hahaha

Hahaha, true.

I just got my car aligned today and I need to buy like $400 in new shit for it. Well, dad was taking care of that. Then fully turing over the car to me. Well, he did, and first thing I get to do is take all the money I saved for speakers, and turn them into a $400 set of tires.

Because the when the car was so low and they turned out the wheels to fit them in the hub, the weight was moved to the corner, and now those are completely bald.

Car was also raised about an inch and a quarter.

Pictures tomorrow.

Ok, first the smilies are all the same from the original vbulletin.

Again, we see the CVT transmission at work in this all new 2008 Nissan Sentra SE-R/Spec V:

Wow, I love the new image popup!!!! Finally, I don't have to click on the stupid Microsoft warning box at the top of the browser.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The third-generation SE-R will go on sale next March, in base and Spec-V trim. The latter version makes 200 horsepower with its 2.5-liter in-line four by using special features such as a unique resin intake manifold and dual branch exhaust manifold; revised piston crown shape to support a higher, 10.5:1 compression ratio; iridium tipped spark plugs for improved combustion; and a revised cam shaft profile, reinforced connecting rods and an eight-counterweight crankshaft.

OMG!!! The specs look better than the 08 Lancer!!!! Now they're missing the shift paddles, lol.

The "base" SE-R makes 177 hp. It's anyone's guess how young, mostly male buyers will react to Nissan's decision to equip the SE-R with a continuously variable transmission. Bosley defended the move, insisting "CVTs are not just for smoothness and fuel economy - they can be tuned for performance also."

Even if the CVT can be tuned for performance, it won't match the fun-factor that you get when driving a stick.
