I think if you plan on keeping it for long term, get the turbo now and eventually down the road, do a tranny upgrade. In the meantime, you can add an oil cooler and such.

Uh-uh, the tranny will take a dump as soon as the turbo goes on. I need a new tranny before the turbo is there, the one I got now will be reliable up to maybe 2 psi continuously. The clutches, cooling, and torque converter all need to be replaced.

That's some weak transmission. I had an automatic Corolla with a supercharger on there. It ran just fine with no tranny cooler at all and stock transmission. It was running on 7-8 psi too.

Plus, the supercharger is putting out constant boost and the turbo isn't. Maybe it's just Ford....

Nah, it's just they put a transmission rated at 140 crank hp/tq in a 130 crank hp/tq car.

OMG, lol---that is really something, just to turn off that tire pressure light. I guess that's where most of the wiring are bundled up. I'll try it out for him tomorrow. He's still got the ugly yellow spare on. Those V'series tires are hard to come by. We went to several shops and none of them have those tires in stock. They have to be special ordered and cost quite a bit too. $200+ dollars for one tire!!! They're suppose to be performance tires (at least that's what Goodyear says) and they're also new.

Oh well, i'm going to practice with dad on the manual tomorrow, and ill be taking the thing to school monday.

Damn that exhaust is fucking loud. I've never heard a car so loud. Especially at about 3.5k RPM's. Almost unbearable. But damn its amazing, I get the biggest grin on my face, because It also has a cold air
