eesh....not a fan of the mirror lights, please tell me it's not a rice burner...

Those chrome lights compliment the white on the car. I hate the stock red lights. Clashes with it. Technically, it is a rice burner simply because it's been fixed up from stock. Not much done to the outside (besides the racing grill and the chrome lights), but performance has been beefed up and fully loaded with TRD Performance parts from engine, suspension, to exhaust. It went from 130HP stock to 176HP overnight.

Compact imports have been given a bad name because of people that put fart cans on their cars and those stupid 2 feet high aluminum wings on the back of a stock vehicle. My car has a pretty clean look. Since I had the car, I've been given a lot of stares and caught people looking in on my car when coming out of the store quite a few times. The people at the Toyota dealer call it a sleeper because I'm the only Corolla that's FI. The best part of all, I still have full warranty with them.

Re: Gallery: You're Car

yea i do like how you have it, don't put a fart can on it and keep it a sleeper. my brother has a 1990 mustang GT that's a sleeper with about 280 horses

Re: Gallery: You're Car

Its not rice burner its pretty nice having Dealer Performance parts real nice car you got TDR i would add rims thats all Manual or Auto?

Re: Gallery: You're Car

yeah some new rims and low pro tires would look nice to complete the package. Anything else would just be too much and I would have to start criticizing.

Re: Gallery: You're Car

Unfortunately, it's an auto. I drive way too much and hate the idea of shifting all the time. My arms and leg would get tired. I think I'm going to leave the wheels the way they are. Those aluminum alloy wheels are ok. If I want to change the wheels, I'm thinking of getting 17's for them. Right now, the fender gap is perfect. Not too big and it's not a huge drop. I've got TRD suspensions all around so it gives it a perfect drop. Not enough to make it look like a low rider or something like that, but at the same time it doesn't sit too high like some of the stock Corolla's are. The stock ones look bad, seriously. It needs the drop. I thought about putting on the Corolla XRS 16's or do they have 17's? Then it would be a wannabe XRS Corolla instead of a Corolla S.

Re: Gallery: You're Car

Whos cares if its an auto its still a nice car didnt thought you can add TDR parts ona corolla hehe

Re: Gallery: You're Car

TRD are available for most Toyota pickups and SUV's (Tacoma, Tundra, 4 Runner, and something else). They are also available in Scion tC, Corolla S, Corolla XRS, Camry, Solara, and what else am I forgetting? Toyota rocks. So much performance options you can get. The Corolla S has the most available for it. More than the Corolla XRS, which is why I got it. Best bang for the buck. There are no superchargers available for the XRS because of it's higher compression motor. That doesn't prevent anyone from putting a turbo on there, hehe.

I originally wanted a Civic, but they cost way too much for such a limited amount of features. I got this Corolla S with all the sport package, leather wrapped shift knobs and steering, power accessories, CD player, matching Corolla S floor mats, cargo net, and extended warranty for about the same price for a Civic LX with only 3 year standard warranty, no CD player, and stock stainless steel wheels (ugly). It's a no brainer decision. Plus, Toyota has legendary reliablity.
