Fantastic bike, goes well for a 250cc but im pretty sure im going to get bored of it very quickly (I Like a little bit of poke). Unfortunately due to the learner laws in australia, for 3 years i cant upgrade to a bigger bike than a 600 UNLESS It's been approved and there aren't any half decent bike on that list so this is going to have to do for now!

250's are alright mon, I mean, their power to weight ratio isn't half bad. The CBR is a bit of a boring one i hear, but there's alot of love for the Ninja 250r.

also, your learner plates look much better in australia... In the UK it's like having 'Knob' written all over you. We've got similar stupid restrictions here too, Being 17; i can sit and pass the full bike test BUT then have to spend 2 years restricted to 33bhp bikes. Whereas if you're 21 or over you can sit the full bike test, walk next door to the suzuki centre and buy a spanking new GSX-R1000. Considering in the UK, I think there are more accidents and claims within the 20-30 bracket than there are in the 16-20 bracket I would have thought they'd at least give everyone the same restriction... but nooo... bureaucrats.

The Ninja's have much more power but im told the CBR Handles better. I'm hoping that while i'm keeping it for the next 3 years, some decent aftermarket mods will come out so i can get some extra juice out of it, though it's quite punchy for what it is! At the end of this month i hope to get a full Screamin' Demon exhaust and some bits and pieces from Tyga :D

Chinese bikes suck... in general xD I know this... but i picked up one of these in relatively good nick (for a 5 year old bike that's spent most of it's life in a garage under a pile of stuff) for £100.

needs a few parts; new battery fittings, new fairing bolts and a new left-side mirror. But other than that it's pretty nice. bleed the rear brakes and replace the oil she's good to go. Just thought i'd share this nice little deal my neighbor hooked me up with.

the picture isn't the actual one, just same model and year I think.

even if it turns out to be an utter disaster, it's worth more than £100 in parts
